B.R.E.A.T.H.E is an organization that promotes mental health awareness for black students.
As a new organization, their request was to establish a brand identity that aligned with their ideas, mission, and audience groups. The organization’s founders agreed upon a direction and had all of their ideas connected but lacked a visual representation and strategy behind their business. That’s where we came in.
For WE ARE B.R.E.A.T.H.E, BRAVO Agency designed a brand experience for those who previously lacked access to free mental health resources in their educational communities. These images reflect logo concepts, mood board, and the final brand book and art direction.
Our efforts introduced the first-ever black mental health resource for college students in the New Orleans Area.
For the non-profit, BRAVO Agency developed a full-scale brand Identity Kit as a roadmap for all future marketing efforts. The kit includes research findings, clear user personas, and their journeys, messaging, taglines, logos, and their variations, color palette, icon and pattern designs, typography, and art direction. The Brand Identity Kit also includes numerous examples of brand applications from social media to signage.
Starting with a Brand Kit helped our team curate a professional branded experience as we developed a digital presence via social media and web, designed a merch shop, managed social media, and maintained brand reputation for B.R.E.A.T.H.E.

THE PLAN
Our plan for developing the website focused on targeting Black College Students who previously lacked access to mental health resources.
TESTING
After in-depth market research, audience profile development, and content flow mapping, we generated a flat layout of designs for our test groups to experience.
Once those layouts were tested, we turned the most responsive design into a highly functional website.
THE FINAL RESULT: GROWTH
The site features an easy-navigate interface designed to help potential colleges identify the right way to implement the program into their public and private institutions.
